Start with AN ACCURATE ASSESSMENT OF YOUR SKILLS:

To get coaching that is optimized to your specific needs, every new Hitz Academy Practice Coaching client takes the Practice Skills Assessment Test to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses as they relate to various aspects of practicing: motivation, organization, focus, goal setting and a few other areas. This assessment will be used as a starting point for our journey and as a reference to evaluate your progress.

Planning Sessions:

Ever sit down to practice and get frustrated pretty quickly because you don’t have a clear plan? Or do you ever end up putting off practicing because you’re not quite sure what to work on first?

Planning Sessions from Hitz Academy Practice Coaching will leave you with a crystal clear idea of exactly what to work on by bringing your short-, medium- and long-term musical goals into focus, because once you know precisely where it is you want to go, the route to get there becomes clear.

Planning Sessions show you everything from exactly what you need to be working on over the next month to what you will do in the first five minutes of tomorrow’s first practice session.

Strategy and Tactic sessions:

Do you sometimes feel like you’re not getting any better because you’re practicing the same things over and over again in the same way you’ve always done?

You will leave these sessions with new techniques to help you address your specific needs. My entire teaching philosophy is to always teach the student in front of you. The combination of strategies and tactics you learn will be uniquely tailored to you based on your goals and skill set.

Accountability Sessions:

These are shorter and are used as a check-in to ensure that actions and priorities are aligned. The regularity of meeting, even briefly, will help to keep you focused and on schedule with projects big and small. These sessions also give us a chance to adjust your practicing plan when life inevitably happens.
