The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation is a nonprofit charity which raises money for music education. The Foundation has awarded almost $750,000 worth of grants to recipients in 43 states
I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors of The Mockingbird Foundation, a nonprofit that has distributed over $1.8 million in grants to support music education for children. The Foundation has handed out almost 500 grants in all 50 states with more on the way.
Something we are incredibly proud of at The Mockingbird Foundation is that we are 100% volunteer. We have no office, salaries or paid staff. As a result, our overhead is as small as possible! This of course means that every possible dollar donated ends up directly supporting music education initiatives that have been chosen through a highly competitive process.

We get easily over 1,000 grant applicants every round and we can’t possibly fund them all. But with your help, we can give access to the music education that each and every one of us deserves to the most students possible.
Whether it’s $5 or $5,000, every dollar counts. Thank you so much for helping us to help these deserving children!
